Art Deco

René Boivin, a celebrated French jeweler, is renowned for his pioneering Art Deco designs that blend boldness with refined elegance. His creations broke away from traditional jewelry norms, incorporating architectural forms, geometric patterns, and vibrant color contrasts. Boivin's work often featured unconventional materials, such as carved wood, mixed with precious gemstones, reflecting a daring yet sophisticated aesthetic. His designs also emphasized craftsmanship and originality, appealing to modern, independent women of the 1920s and 1930s.

These Designs were created during my MBA program at the Haute École de Joaillerie, were we were tasked to relaunch an brand, and I was in charge of product development of the collection. For this theme, I chose to be inspired by René Boivin love of pushing the limits of design and fabrication with carve stone.

Collection is the marriage of the bright color and classic diamond of era, blending stone inlay and use of precious and semi-precious stones. Mix use of 18kt Yellow and White gold, Rock Crystal, Onyx, Grey Chalcedony, White Sapphire, Orange Garnet, White and Yellow Diamonds.
